The band play a broad and eclectic mix of covers from artists like Johnny Cash, The Eagles, Garth Brooks, Neil Young, The Band, Steve Earle, Bruce Springsteen, Kris Kristofferson, Union Station etc to Irish artists like Horslips, Goats Don't shave, Sharon Shannon, Van Morrison, and put their own stamp on rock covers from AC/DC , Green Day, Thin Lizzy etc and contemporary acts like Mumford and Sons , Old Crow Medicine Show . Added to the mix are some Irish Jigs and reels and popular Irish songs.
The Whole Hog Band's single "fiddle in the band" was released in May 2013 and raised money for The Children's Hospital in Crumlin in association with the Hillbilly Tractor run in Ballyknockan.
